Pre-K Partnerships Newsletter

I approached the Pre-K Partnerships’ Principal with a plan to assist the community engagement specialist in creating content for and distributing the partnership’s newsletter to families of students enrolled in the program. At the time, consistent communication from Dallas ISD was sparse and disconnected. Our conversation sparked the creation of the Pre-K Partnerships Newsletter Committee.

In the three years as committee chair, this project reached more than 2,000 families spanning across all DISD feeder patterns once a month. As committee chair, I managed the editorial calendar and acted as liaison between administrators and teachers.
